Chris Rowland

Associate

Chris has extensive experience in conflict management and dispute resolution, and works across the public, private and NGO sectors. Her expertise is in industrial and employee relations systems, conflict resolution and the understanding and application of fair procedures. 

Chris provides expert analysis and reports on practice and procedure in employment related legal cases, and investigates, mediates and arbitrates in individual and collective complaints and disputes. She offers audit, advisory and training services to organisations keen to achieve best practice across all employee and industrial relations systems.

Chris is a member of the Law Society Complaints and Client Relations Committee, and the Dublin Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board Investigation Panel. She has served as a member of the Social Welfare Appeals Tribunal, and of the Board of the Health and Safety Authority.

A former senior official with SIPTU, Chris was instrumental in setting up and managing the SIPTU Workers’ Rights Centre. She holds a BBS from UCD, and Diplomas in Employment Law and Industrial Relations, from UCD and the National College of Ireland.
