Angela Edghill

Non-Executive Director

Angela Edghill is an advocate, researcher, trainer and policy analyst with extensive management and governance experience. Her wide-ranging career and successful track- record in education, politics, and NGOs, and as a campaigner for change, have been driven by a lifelong commitment to working for a more equitable society.

Angela’s comprehensive understanding of the public and political sectors is combined with extensive experience in delivering policy development and effective strategies to achieve change. Working in the political mainstream Angela was a driver of policy on health and equality. In parallel, as Chair of the Asthma Society of Ireland she led the transformation of the organisation and the development and launch of its research programme on better asthma management in General Practice.

In her roles at the Irish Hospice Foundation, Angela was instrumental in driving progress on public policy and practice in palliative care, training health professionals in end-of-life care and developing comprehensive political advocacy strategies and public engagement on end- of-life and bereavement issues.

As an insightful thinker and mentor, Angela supports changemakers in a range of sectors.
